Position Overview: At Syntex (Data), we are an IT and Data Consulting company dedicated to providing top-notch services that empower businesses to thrive in the digital age. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that meet our clients' needs, ensuring superior performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop a deep understanding of our clients' business strategies and goals to provide tailored solutions.
Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for meaningful improvements across projects.
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.

  • Experience with web development frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.

  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile development environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
